Heroes of the Yakuza - Okane Gin

Okane Gin is a secondary character in my novel, “What the Luck?” In the novel, one of the characters mentions she had a “Heroes of the Yakuza Coloring Book” when she was young. As a goof to celebrate the release of the audiobook version of the novel, I actually created the coloring book.

If you are interested in adult coloring books, and by “adult” I just mean more complex and intricate than those aimed towards children with nothing to do with naked people, then check this one out as it is both amusing and oddly therapeutic.

The coloring book has a bio for Okane Gin that reads as follows:

Okane Gin is Noboru’s son, and therefore next in line to rule the Ishiku-gumi. His personality is very similar to his father’s and he even shares his penetrating stare.
Gin had spent much of his earlier years at arm’s length from the group as to not confuse the hierarchy, and had passed his time running an optometry office that helped to launder money for his father. However, now that his father is getting older, Gin lets his daughter, Natsuko, run the optometry business while he learns the ropes of running the criminal organization from his father.
Gin also approves of his daughter’s marriage to a Westerner, although slightly more reluctantly. However, he has seen Bill’s bravery and his love for his daughter, so he lets him live on a day-by-day basis.
Gin does, however, differ from his father when it comes to tattoos. Being a ladies’ man, Gin much prefers having live women on his body rather than dead men’s skulls.
